Terms, Conditions and Privacy

These are the terms and conditions on which we supply goods and information to you through our website.

1. About us and how to contact us

We are The Game Chef, a company founded by and solely owned by Tom Godber Ford-Moore, and we can be reached at Edgcott Farm, Exford, Minehead, Somerset, TA24 7QG, on 01643 831652 or 07919 523523, alternatively contact us online.

2. How we use your personal information

We only ask for minimal information needed to complete your order. We will use the personal information you provide to us to supply the goods to you, process your payment for the goods; and if you agreed to this during the order process, to inform you about similar goods that we provide, but you may stop receiving these at any time by contacting us.

We will only give your personal information to third parties where the law either requires or allows us to do so.

You are welcome to ask us to remove or change the information we hold on you by contacting us at any time and your request will be carried out.

3. Your order

Your order is accepted once payment has been cleared through our online payment gateway, Paypal. We will then send you an email to acknowledge receipt of your order and begin preparing your goods for delivery within 24 hours of receiving the order (excluding public holidays).

If for any reason we are unable to accept your order, for example the funds have not been received or we are out of stock of a particular item, we will contact you and no money will be taken for items we cannot fulfil.

If you wish to change your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will arrange any additional payment needed, or any refund required (as long as the total order value is still £30 minimum, excluding the postage and packaging fee).

If you wish to cancel your order altogether, as these are non perishable products which may be stored at an ambient temperature, you remain the right to change your mind within 14 days of making the purchase, as set out in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

In this situation you would need to arrange delivery of the goods back to our address stated above, and once safely received we will proceed your refund within 14 working days. Please note your refund will exclude postage and packaging fees.

As we supply goods, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. During the expected life of your goods, your legal rights entitle you to a refund if your goods are damaged for up to 30 days. If for any reason you believe the goods are damaged or mis-described, we will pay for the return costs.

4. Our products

As each product is home cooked by Tom and his team, our products may sometimes differ in shape and colour to those photographed. These images are for illustrative purposes only and sometimes the packaging may also differ. The information we give on our website is for general information purposes only. We accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury arising as a result of the advice, recipes or instructions provided to you on our website or in conjunction with any of our goods.

Inspecting the goods. It is your responsibility to inspect the goods on receipt of your order and to inform of of any damages or problems within 14 days.

5. Supplying the goods

We will dispatch your goods within 48 hours of receiving the order (excluding public holidays) using our choice of courier. Wherever possible we will use an express service so that your order arrives with 2-3 days (maximum) of dispatch. We cannot accept responsibility for delays in the delivery for example, postal strikes or flooding.

If you are not at home when your order is delivered and you have arranged for the package to be left in a safe place, or with a neighbour, we cannot in this situation accept any responsibility for missing packages.
